WHEREAS my wife AZUBAH hath eloped from my bed and board, and saith our marriage covenant is broken, and shall not be mended: - and 2dly, she does not believe in the resurrection of the body: 3dly, she wishes that I was in h--l: - 4th, she will not obey me in things that are lawful and right, if she goes to h--l: - 5th, she has clandestinely taken provisions out of my house when I was busy in hay time: - 6th, she upholds our children, ignorant and young, in taking things out of my house, to the damage of the family: - 7th, she wishes I would sell her; but she will pick her man: - 8th, she has taken in a man who keeps a fiddle.
These are therefore to forbid all persons harbouring, trading or meddling with said AZUBAH, and to desire the Grand Jury to take cognizance of her behaviour, as she is now in open rebellion, and does that which is next akin to the sin of witchcraft.
And whereas CHRISTIAN WOOD and AZUBAH WOOD, my children, have ran away, I will give one penny reward to any person who will return them, and no charges paid. I also forbid all persons dealing with said children.
