TWENTY hard dollars REWARD. RUN away from the subscriber, two NEGRO Servants, in the night after the 8th instant, named Hampton, and Gad, one is about 30 years of age, about 5 feet 7 inches high: the other about 22 years old, and is near 6 feet high, and walks bent forward, had between them when they went away, two tow-cloth shirts, and one check'd linen shirt, each had on a pair of tow cloth trowsers, and the least of them, a striped linen jacket with sleeves, as also, a light colour'd great coat, it is supposed that they will endeavour to get to Long-Island by way of Horse-Neck, as Gad has serv'd in the State troops upon that station, the least of them is very artful, is heavy ... has a great appearance of ... Whoever takes up said run-aways, and return them to the subscribers, shall receive the above reward, and necessary charges paid by, JOSEPH JOHNSON, SIMEON BRISTOL. New-Haven, July 17, 1781.
