FIFTY DOLLARS REWARD. RAN away from the subscriber the night following
the 7th instant, a likely well built NEGRO MAN, named DERY, about 22
years of age, near five feet and a half high, clear black, talks pretty
good English; had on when he went away a deep blue coat, brown
waistcoat, and brown tow cloth trowsers, with a pair of linen breeches
under them, check'd shirt almost worn out, a large brim'd felt hat,
almost new, white yarn stockings, thick shoes, large block-tin shoe
buckles, his hair turn'd back, went away witha Negro named Pomp, about
23 years of age, thick set, talks broken, is clear black, about 5 1/2
feet high, wore cheifly linen clothes. Whoever will take up said
Negroes, or said Negro only, and return him to the subscriber in
Glastenbury, or secure him in any public goal, shall receive the above
reward from ELIZUR TRYON. Glastenbury, July 8, 1783.
