Ran-away from the subscriber in Salem on the 11th instant a Negro man servant named POMP, a leather-dresser by Trade, is about 5 feet 7 inches high, speaks good English, has a large scar on one Part of his Forehead, about 23 years of Age. Had on when he went away a dark colour'd broad-cloth Coat, which has been turn'd, of a mixxed colour, a pair of black knit Breeches something worn, a homemade cotton linnen Jacket. Whoever will take up said Negro and secure him in any of His Majestys Goals or return him to his said master shall have TEN DOLLARS reward, and all necessary charges paid by Aaron Wait. October 25, 1770. N.B. Said Negro was seen on board Capt. John Rogers's sloop, at East-Greenwich, in the colony of Rhode Island, on the 18th instant, who was then bound to New-York and the North River.
