Ten Dollars Reward! Ran away from the subscriber, in Harwich, in the county of Barnstable, some time last spring, a negro man servant named JOSEPH CUFFE, about 36 years of age, he speaks good English, has left both his great toes; he very well understands playing on a violin, and pretends to be a very good dancer: - He went off in company with a small indian squaw, and has been since seen with her in the eastern part of Connecticut. Whoever will apprehend said negro, and return him, or secure him in any of his Majesty's goals, and give me (or my brother Nathaniel Hopkins, of Mansfield, in Connecticut) information thereof, so that I may have him again shall receive a reward of TEN DOLLARS and all necessary charges paid - And all masters of vessels are cautioned not to harbour, conceal, or carry off said negro, as they would avoid being prosecuted in the law. Harwich, Dec. 1, 1769. THEOPHILUS HOPKINS.
