Twenty Pounds Reward. Stonington, August 31th, 1763. YESTERDAY, made his Escape from David Frink, Sheriff's Deputy, for the County of New-London, a Negro Man Servant, belonging to Joseph Miner, 2d. of said Stonington, which said Negro was apprehended for being Guilty of the MURDER of an Indian Man named David Job, on the Evening of the 27th Instant. He is about Five Feet Seven Inches high, and well set, has a Scar on his Forehead, speak good English, is about 34 Years old, had on a blue Jacket with red Lining, white tow Shirt, long Trowses, had no Hat nor Stockings on. WHOEVER shall take up said Negro, and secure him in any of His Majesty's Goals, shall receive the abovesaid Reward of Twenty Pounds, Lawful Money, and all necessary Charges from David Frink. N.B. All Masters of Vessels and Others are hereby forbid to harbour, conceal or carry off said Negro, on the utmost rigour of the Law.
