RAN-AWAY from the subscriber at Canterbury, on the 9th day of June last, a Negro Man Servant, named Ben Suson, aged thirty years, about five feet high; had on when he went away, a lightest coloured Soldier's Coat, Lappell'd and Cuff'd with Red, blue Breeches, a linnen check'd shirt; has lost most of his toes on his feet; talks good English, calls himself a Free Man. Whoever will take up said Negro and secure him so his master can have him again, shall receive a Reward of Six Dollars, with all necessary Charges from me WILLIAM DARBE. N.B. Said Negro is a subtile Fellow, but may easily be known by his loosing his Toes as aforesaid, which 'tis requested may be examin'd by any Person who may mistrust him to be the abovesaid Run-away. He has been seen skulking in the Woods for some Time past.
