Stop a Runaway! September 30, 1772. RAN-AWAY from the subscriber (of Bedford, in the County of West-Chester, and Province of New-York,) on the Night after the 24th of September, Instant, a Negro Man named STEPH, about 6 Feet high, about 30 Years old, this Country born, has two Scars on his Head, his Cloathing can't be particularly described as he took with him various Kinds; he speaks good English, loves strong Drink, and is very noisy, and is supposed to have a forg'd Pass. Whoever shall take up said Servant, and return him to his Master, or secure him in Gaol, so that I have him again, shall have Three Dollars Reward, and all necessary Charges paid, by ELIJAH HUNTER.
