I THE Subscriber being lately advertised by James Green of Enfield he says that I hav Eloped from his bed and board I think that cannot be for he hath got neither of them without he begs or boroweth he also forbids any Persons trusting me on his account. I am sure that is needless for he cannot be trust five shillings himself. Where he is known he also forbids any Persons harboring me in their housen throw fortain I have no need of their houses to harbor in for i have one of my own Com by Pattomony. I have reason to lament my folly in marrying him but not for leaving him and if I should Relate the whol of his ill conduct it would fill a vollem but I shall omit all but only some few hints as I was prosued and intised by him in my youth and Proswaded to marry him tho' much contrery to the adwoce of my Parents but soon after Marrage all his Protended acts of benevolence was soon defaced and I was repeatedly acosted with the most rash and insulting language and behavior as saying I was a damd Whore and a damd bitch and that he would kick Me out of dore and wishing me gon and that he had me to Croos my Parents and some times not suffering me any rome in the bed all with little or no Provication all aggravated with ecstreem Poverty &c &c he also Pretended to maintain a spirit of Jelussy and I am serting it was without any accation tho I was one time Some diverted with one in Stance which I will gest mention as I was alone one Evening with only my Cat untill he that had pretended himself to be a Cocckle Come home and opening the dore Started the pore inosent Cat into a dark room and having only a glemce of the Cat pretended to supose it to be the hore master soon made ferce and found nothing but the Cat I desired him to Slay the hore master Cat hoping that would Ease his jealous mind. Time and paper would fail to relate all his ill Conduct I hall only relate the rest in a word after my parents giving him a gentle rebuke for his ill Conduct he was so hily displeased with their reproof that he resind me back to them and stript me of my Close and Stryed of and left me and if any person will take up sd green and keep him so that I may never see of here from him more Shall have forty Dolers reward and all nesecary Charges paid by me ELISABETH GREEN
