Eighteen-pence reward, slip'd his Cable, and efsap'd from the subscriber, in Harwinton, on the Evening of the 24th, James Dewy, an Appretice boy, bound to the Blacksmith's Business, in the 18th year of his age, of light complexion, tall and much projected, about 5 feet and 10 inches high, had on when he hoisted sail, either a pale flue or london-brown coat, flap'd hat, largely freighted with wearing apparel and other rigging, bound to port uncertain. whoever will secure and return said run-away to the subscriber, shall be entitled to the above reward, and no charges paid and therefore, are to forbid all persons habouring or trusting said James, as I shall pay neither dockage or other debts of his contracting; and any one who harbours, charters or employs him, may expect the perils of the law.
