Ran away from me the subscriber, in Plainfield, the night following the 16th instant, an apprentice boy, about 18 years old, named John Jordan, he is of a middling figure, and fresh complexion; he wore and carried away with him a good beaver hatt and an old felt ditto, a new homemade bearskin great coat of a brownish color, with pewter buttons, an every-day jacket of the same cloth of said great coat, one straight bodied coat and jacket, homemade, of a bluish color, one scarlet German sarge jacket about half worn, one checkt linen shirt, two flannel ditto, one pair of old leather breeches. Whosoever will take up said runaway, and convey him to me the subscriber, shall have 5 dollars reward, and all necessary charges paid, per Samuel Hall, jun. N.B. all masters of vessels and others are forbidden to carry away or entertain the abovesaid fellow.
