Having gone to Wallingford, Conn, on two weeks leave to visit his parents, (named Elder,) and wilfully absenting himself since the 1st of september, 1855, John E. Duy, an indentured apprentice; about 17 years old and 5 ft. 8 in. high, dark hair and eyes, and fair complextion, with an impediment of speech. He carried with him a set of Engraving tools, which can use expertly in bright cutting silver work, ec. $10 dollar reward to whoever shall give information of his whereabouts, or lodge him in prison, so that the subsrciber can secure him. All persons are cautioned against harboring or giving employment to said apprentice, as they will be prosecuted according to law. GEO. W. Simons.
