RAN away from the subscriber on Sunday morning, the 15th inst. an indented negro boy, by the name of Lyman Dwight Brewster, 14 years old, rather small of stature; said boy wore away a new felt hat, black coat, light vest, check cotton pantaloons, stockings and shoes, and took other articles of clothing. All persons are forbid harboring or employing said boy on penalty of the law; whoever will return said boy to the subscriber in thirty-five days from the above date, shall receive ten dollars reward and no charges paid. ABNER M. ELLSWORTH. East-Windsor, June 16, 1823. It is supposed that said boy has gone to Winsted or Winchester where his parents live.
