FIFTY DOLLARS REWARD!!!
Runaway from the subscriber, on the 19th instant, a Negro Man Servant named GLASCO, but commonly called GLASS - aged about 22 to 23 years - in height 5 feet 10 inches. He is bony, robust, and stout built, and is vey black—will pass for a likely negro.
Broke into my desk and took from it a dimity jacket and about 20 shillings in money; wore away a good wool hat, a cotton shirt that he had worn 5 days, something dirty, a sailor jacket and trousers, and calf skin shoes: had tied up in a bandanno handkerchief a pair of nankeen pantaloons, together with some other clothing.
Whoever will or shall secure the said Negro in any jail, and give information or return him to the subscriber, shall receive the above reward.
N.B. The above Negro can speak good English and Dutch, and may possibly have a conductor, or be in company with some other Negro.
