20 DOLLARS REWARD. RUN away on Saturday, the 15th of Nov. a Mulatto NEGRO, about 16 years of age, about 5 feet 6 inches high speaks good English and low Dutch, is a good fiddler, fiddles right handed, ests left handed, chops right handed. He is a likely well made slave, full faced, had on when he went away, a French made homespun old gray coat, an old blue sailors jacket, and old pair black velvet overalls and a linen pair striped trowsers over them, a woolen checkered shirt and new shoes, as there is more clothing missing it is said he went off with an intent to go to sea. All captains are forbid carrying him off on penalty of the law or harboring or employing him; his name is YAT, he had run away before, he then gave himself the name of Charles, it is likely he has altered his name again, is inclined to drinking. Whoever will apprehend said Mulatto negro and return him to the subscriber or confine him in any goal and give information to the subscriber, shall receive the above reward. JOHN S. GLEN. N. B. He also wore a red striped handkerchief away. City Schenectady, County of Albany November 1806.
