25 DOLLARS REWARD. RUN away on the evening of the 21st, of September, a mulatto man named JAMES; he is about six feet high, walks a little stooping, with a down look, was brought up in a dutch family and discovering something of it by his speech. Said mulatto wore away a mixt bluish coat made old fashion, black and white swansdown vest, the striped running up and down, striped trowsers and neats leather shoes with nails in the bottoms at the heels and toes. These many certify that the subscriber released the man from slavery during life, by means of his purchase, and to be freed at the age of twenty eight years. Any person that will deliver said Runaway to the subscriber in Clinton town, Dutchess county, or secure him so that he may get him again; shall be entitled to the above reward and all reasonable charges paid. ISRAEL I. VAIL. October 5. N.B. Printers in the state, are requested to give this a place for one or more weeks, in their several papers.
