Phebe Ross and Benjamin Ross

Whereas Phebe my wife in a private manner last evening eloped from my bed and board, carrying property with her to the amount of seventy dollars, and taking my son Benjamin with her, aged 14 years: These therefore are to forbid, and I do hereby forbid any person of persons whatsoever to harbour or trust either of them with any thing on my account, as I shall pay no debts of their contracting after this date; but two cents reward shall be given to any man that will take up and return to me said runaway boy, but no charges will be paid, by Zephaniah Ross.
