Stop Thief and Runaway!
RAN away the 21st of August instant, a stout, well made Negro Man, named Dick; aged about 22 years, nearly six feet high; remarkably active, straight and well shaped; speaks the English language very fluently, also the Low Dutch; sings remarkably well: his colour is very black, and he has a good set of teeth. His dress when he went off, was a common linen trowsers and shirt unbleached, and a short coloured jacket without sleeves. It is supposed he has changed his dress.
As the above Negro has committed a Felony, and is noted for committing crimes, the subscriber flatters himself that the offender will not elude the search of citizens who are friends to good order and society. The above reward includes the sum first offered, and will be paid to any person who will lodge the said Negro in any goal till he can be received, or return him to his master in Albany.
