RUN-away from the subscriber in Hebron, Gilead parish, on the night foltowing the 27th of October last, a Negro man named PHILIP; he is about 5 feet 6 inches high, rathy stocky, heavy moulded and stow of speech, has a very honest appearance, is about 30 years old, has had two of his middle fingers on one hand frozen which makes them a little more short and stumped than the others, has also a scar on one side of his neck a little betow his ear occasioned by a burn: he took with him an old homemade great coat (at first and olive colour) very much faded, trimmed with yellow metal buttons, 1 homemade crow-coloured straight-bodied coat trimmed with white figured metal buttons, 1 short every day coat much worn of a brown colour and trimmed with Mathewman buttons, a pair homemade plain cloth breeches, 1 new homemade plain cloth vest, 1 calico do. 2 pair of common wollen Stockings, a pair of new shoes, 1 new felt hat, 1 fine white homespun shirt and 1 striped do. Whoever will take up said Negro and return him to the subscriber in Hebron, or secure him and give information so that he many be obtained shall receive Four Dollars reward and no charged paid; and all persons are hereby forbid harboring or secreting said Negro on pentaly of the law.
