LAST night escaped from the Gaol in this place, Salmon Hill, a middleing sized man, light complexion, and pretty good looking, was committed to Prison for Forgery; and James Smith, a dark complexion'd man of a smallish size, a great talker, was a deserter from West-point; Both appear to be about 24 years of age. Whoever will take up said fellows, and return them to the said Hartford Gaol, shall be entitled to the thanks of the Public, and all necessary charges paid by, JONATHAN JANES, Gaoler. Hartford, August 1.
