On the 7th inst. Dec. I the subscriber took up a transient Person with a quantity of Merchant's Good's, to the amount of thirty of forty pounds, which are supposed to have been stolen; the man escaped from his keeper on the evening of the 11th instant, but the goods will be delivered to the owner, his proving property and paying charges, by BRADLEY SEELY. New-Fairfield, Dec. 12, 1789.
