TWENTY DOLLARS REWARD. RAN-away from the subscriber, in the night after the 4th instant, a likely negro Man, named BEN, about 5 feet 10 inches high, well sett, a small scar on his forehead, speaks good English, and some of the Dutch language, and is about 26 years of age. He took with him one homespun bearskin coat, one do. white jacket, one spotted Jean jacket, one Holland Shirt, one tow cloth frock, two pair of tow cloth trowsers, one painted red on the knee, one old wool hat, and two pair of shoes. Whoever will take up and return said negro to the subscriber, living in the town of Washington, county of Dutchess, State of New-York, shall be paid the above reward and reasonable charges, by JAMES TALLMADGE. New Haven, Aug. 13, 1783.
