RUN away from the subscriber the night of the 23d of June, an apprentice lad, named Horace Miller, in the 18th year of his age, light complexion, dark brown hair, [...] walks with his head stooping forward, very talkative and bold, carried away with him three coats, One claret coluor long and fashionable, trimmed with white flowered buttons, buttons on the sides of the cuffs, one ditto snuff colour, yellow checked buttons, one ditto short doublebrested brown collar white smooth buttons several of them come off at the eyes, two white vests ribbed one ribbon the other cotton, one do. light brown sulled cloth, one pair light brown sulled cloth breeches, one do. white linnen, one pair of greenish brown fustian overhalls tied round the ankle with yellow ferret, two white shirts, a frock and pair of trowsers, one pair of mixed worsted stockings, one do. brown linen, a round felt hat bound with ferret. Whoever will take up said lad and return him to his master shall have a reward of one copper, and no charges paid. All masters of vessels and other people are forbid harbouring or carrying off said lad on the penalty of law. THADDEUS TAYLOR. Suffield, June 25, 1787.
