Eight Dollars Reward. RUN away from the subscriber in October last, a negro servant named CUFF, (calls himself Tom) a well built black, about twenty-six years of age, five feet ten inches high, country born, speaks good English, has on a short blue coat, with white buttons, was taken last week at Stockbridge, Massachusetts, for theft, and made his escape - he is supposed to be lurking about Salisbury or Canaan. Whoever will apprehend said black and return him to the owner, shall receive the above reward, and reasonable charges paid by, WILLIAM SEYMOUR. Hartford, March 23, 1787.
