Whereas my wife has for some time past behaved in a very scanalous and affrontive manner, and being inclined to be with others, has forsaken my bed and board and taken residence at a place where I am forbid to come; these are therefore to forbid all persons harboring or trusting the said Dilla on my account, or have any communication with her either public or private, as I am determined to answer no contract of her making - And as the said Dilla is my property by bill of sale, bought with my own money, I hereby give notice that I am ready to sell her and give a good title to the first who will buy her, and make terms of pay easy to the purchaser. Bristo Harris. Coventry, October 3, 1786.
