WHEREAS David Ensign, of Lanesborough, in the county of Berkshire, was on the 15th inst. taken by me by virtue of a warrant issued against him for breach of the peace and held in my custody by virtue of a mittimus for his commitment to prison, until he should recognize for his appearance before the Court of General Sessions of the Peace, to be holden at Great Barrington on the second Tuesday of September next, and has since escaped me. Whoever shall apprehend the said David and bring him to me, that he may be committed to prison or [...] according to the law, shall have five dollars reward. AARON WOOD, Deputy Sheriff.
