ESCAPED from the subscriber, on the night of the 14th instant, Col. ASA BARNS, of Lanesborough, a prisoner for debt, being on the road to the Goal in Great-Barrington at the time he effected his escape. Said Barns is a large sized, corpulent man, pretty red in the face. Whoever will apprehend said Barns and deliver him to the keeper of the goal in said Great-Barrington, shall have Ten Dollars reward and necessary charges paid, by JOHN FOOT, Dept. Sheriff. Great-Barrington, Jannuary 15, 1785.
