RUN-away on Monday night the 9th instant, a Negro man named POMP, about 30 years of age, a short thick fellow, lame in his right foot, occasioned by a cut with an ax; carried with him a blue broad cloath coat with a red cape, a green broad cloth coat and vest, one pair of old leather breeches, and one pair of striped ticking ditto. one white dimoty vest, and one white holland shirt, two check woolen ditto, and one coating loose coat the fore parts lined with red baize. Whoever will take up said Negro, and return him to the subscriber in Hartford, shall have Five Dollars reward, and necessary expenses. DANIEL GOODWIN. N.B. He went away in company with a young Squaw, and suppoed to be gone to New-York or lurking about New-Haven. September 16, 1782.
