DESERTED form my company in Col. […] regiment, Joseph Turner an Indian fellow, about 24 years of age, of middling stature, likely to have his wife with him. Said Turner inlisted with Lieut. John Bewell at Hebron some time about the first of April last and immediately joined his regiment and marched to Peck's Kill where he had the small pox on the 16th of June deserted, leaving his gun and regimentals behind. Whoever will apprehend said deserter and return him to his regiment shall be entitled to ten dollars reward and all necessary charges paid, by John Harmon, Capt.
