Joseph Stantcliff

DESERTED from Capt. Samuel Granger's company, one Joseph Stantcliff. Said Stantcliff was drafted to serve in the continental army until the first day of January next; he is about 5 feet 7 inches high, about 39 years of age, black hair, dark complexion; had on an old black coat. Whoever will take up said deserter and return him to said Granger shall have five dollars reward and all necessary charges paid, by SAMUEL GRANGER, Capt. Hartford, June 11, 1777.
