Morris Welch

DESERTED from Capt. Manson's company, Col. Chandler's regiment, one Morris Welch, about 5 feet 5 or 6 inches high, light complexion, short light brown hair, had on a dark brown coat and vest, dirty leather breeches, a silver watch in his pocket, a pair high top shoes. Whoever shall take up said deserter and return him to me, or to the regiment to which he belongs, shall have five DOLLARS reward. BILDAD GRANGER, Lieut. May 8, 1777.
