LEFT the house of the subscriber, on the night after the 18th inst. a Negro girl named ROSE, about 18 years of age, very full breasted, short of stature, large full eyes, born in Rhode Island. As she has not since returned, it is supposed she is gone off with an intention to go to the British army; she had on a blue woolen shortgown, brown woollen petticoat, a pair of white yarn stockings and a pair of sharp toe'd men's shoes; 'tis supposed she took with her a knapsack, made of a yellow wrapper, also a soldier's coat of a blue colour, faced with green, with a brown broad cloth waistcoat, with spangled buttons. Whoever shall take her up and bring her to her master, shall have Ten Dollars reward and all necessary charged paid, by PELETIAH PIERCE. Hartford, February 12, 1777.
