RUN-away from Litchfield, on the 12th instant, a small, active, tawney, talkative Negro boy, named EBED MELECK, about 20 years old, speaks and reads English well. Had on or took with him a blue broad cloth coat, red plush jacket, and buckskin breeches, and one brown homespun suit, one grey great coat half worn, several shirts woolen and linnen, with white seemed and brown yarn stockings; rode off a sorrel horse with white face and feet, 14 hands high seven years old, formerly branded J.S. on the left thigh, trots and paces, and is well shod. Whoever will return them shall be generously rewarded by JEDEDIAH STRONG. Litchfield, Jan. 20, 1777.
