Fidteen Dollars Reward. DESERTED from the iron furnace in Hardwick, a shortish well set man, with brown hair, swarthy complexion, called his name Benjamin Higgins, is from Norwich-Landing, said he had lived with Wm. Colt, merchant, it is likely he will change his name, had on a small felt hat bound with black ferret, black silk neckcloth, short brown coat, and belted jacket, wash leather breeches, blue and white mix'd stockings, calve skin shoes, large silver buckles, he took about thirty dollars in Massachusetts bills and one New-York half dollar bill from an honest negro, he worked about the furnace six weeks, and is gone off without settling accounts or receiving pay for his work, it is likely he will enter on board some privateer or try to get to the British forces. Any person that will secure him or inform of the Printer where he may be seen, shall be well rewarded, and if they will bring him to said furnace shall receive the above reward. JOSEPH WASHBURN. Hardwick, Dec. 4, 1776.
