Six Dollars Reward. Deserted from the late Col. Gay's regiment, Capt. Bradley's company, then lying at White Plains, on the 25th day of October 1776, Francis Dowen, about 22 years old, about 6 feet high, very slim ---And on the 27th Daniel Williams, about 5 feet 8 inches high, about 25 years old, dark complexion, bushy black hair. Also deserted Thomas Atwell about 5 feet 8 inches high, dark colour'd eyes and coplexion, about 25 years old; said deserters all belong to Litchfield. Whoever will take up all or either of said deserters and return him or them to said regiment in camp, shall have two dollars reward for each, and all necessary charges paid, by ABRAHAM BRADLEY, Capt. Camp in North Castle, Nov. 2, 1776.
