WHEREAS Abigail my wife, has without any cause or provication deserted my bed and board, and has and still doth refuse to return and live with me; I do therefore strictly forbid all and every person or persons harbouring, or in any way entertaining or detaining her, or crediting her on my account, or having any deal whatsoever with her: And I do now stand ready to receive her if she will return, and provide for her to the utmost of my abilities, and in every respect treat her as a kind and tender husband.
