DESERTED from the service of the Colony of Connecticut, on the 8th of June instant, from Sheffield, a soldier named Thomas Clark, belonging to the 7th company in the 6th regiment---he is of a middling statute, light complexion, pitted with the small pox, and a pimply face, about 30 years of age, had on a light coloured fustian coat, a callico waistcoat, and a pair of drab breeches, white stockings, and inferstands the manual exercise well---he feloniously took and carried away two Silver Watches when he deserted. Whoever will take up said deserter, and return him to the commanding officer of said regiment at New-London, or to me the subscriber at Ticonderoga, shall have Twenty Dollars reward, and all necessary charges paid, by me, EDWARD MOTT, Captain. June 14th, 1775.
