Whereas my wife Elizabeth, hath eloped from me, and is gone off with another man, and had robb'd me of all my household furniture, together with several notes of hand, and other papers of consequence. These are therefore to forewarn all persons not to trust her on my account, for I will pay no debt she shall contract after this date. And I hereby promise a reward of twenty dollars to any person who shall recover and return the goods to JAMES HOWD. Farmington, Jan. 16, 1774.
