RUN away from me the subscriber on the night before the 12th day of May instant, an apprentice boy named Isaac Lane, his is of a darkish complexion, about 5 feet 3 inches high, and is lame with one of his legs, and mich shorter than the other, he is about 19 years of age and is likely to call himself a taylor, as he has been serving at that trade. Whoever will take up said apprentice and return him to me the subscriber in Chatham, shall be paid one Dollar reward and all necessary charges. JACOB WOOD. N. B. All masters of vessels are forbid to carry off said apprentice, or any other persons to harbour hum as they will answer it at the penalty of the law. May 21, 1774.
