Fifteen Dollars Reward. Run-AWAY from the subscriber of Hebron on the evening after the 10th instant, a negro man named TONEY, about 6 feet high, very black talkative and of a sprightly countenance, about 24 or 25 years old-carried away with him 1 brown loose coat, yellow binding, 1 coat and vest, mix’d red and white, no lining, one sleeveless vest brown paincloth, 2 striped tow shirts, 2 white holland, ditto, 1 pair leather breeches, 1 pair check trowsers and 1 check shirt, 3 pair of stockings, 1 pair boots, 1 pair shoes, and a felt hat. Also supposed to be in company with said Negro, one Samuel Gilbert of New Canaan, in the province of New York, hired man to the subscriber, about 20 years of age, dark brown hair and eyes, about 5 feet and 8 inches high had with him a gray large coat, dark brown broad cloth lappeled vest 2 short jackets for every day blewish colour, 1 pair leather breeches, 1 pair sagathy ditto, 1 pair black rib'd stockings, 1 pair blue ditto, bever hat, 2 woolen shirts, 2 white holland ditto, one frock, tow cloth - sundry of the above articles were stolen by one or both of the above described fellows. Whoever shall take up said negro servant meand return him to his master, or shall confine him in any of his majesty's goals shall have ten dollars reward, and all necessary charges paid. For the said Gilbert, five dollars reward, and all necessary charges paid, by me, Samuel Gilbert, jun. N. B. All masters of vessels and others, are forbid carrying off said negro on the penalty of the law. Hebron, June 11, 1773.
