Run-away last Monday night from Wethersfield a transient person who says his name is William Johnson an old countryman, about 5 feet 9 inches high about 25 years of age, wore his own light coloured short, curl'd hair, well built, has a sore on his right leg, had on when he went away, a short blue coat, red double breasted waistcoat, black knit breeches had with him a pair long stri'ds trowsers and had one white shirt, and two striped linen ditto. He stole and carried with him the following articles viz. one check linen shirt, a pair worsted stockings, a pair of thin shoes a pair of large flowered silver shoe buckles, a pair large knee ditto, a black Barcelona hankerchief, and a pair of white leather gloves Whoever shall take up and secure said thief in any of his Majesty's Goals so that he ma ybe dealt with according to law, and the goods recovered, shall have six dollars reward, and all necessary charges paid by Josiah Goodrich. Wethersfield, July 3, 1772.
